Blackdyke Fly Fishery, Norfolk
A decent week’s fishing with some good results for many and the 39 anglers caught 81 rainbows of which 73 were released. Largest fish went to Martin Smith who caught a beautiful rainbow just over 4lb on a Buzzer. Mostly Buzzer (black and brown) madness with fish just under the surface but some success with Damsels, lures and Cat’s Whiskers. Next restock after Easter. Peter Kerr from Longhorsley returned an approximate 10lb brown trout using a Buzzer. The fly box this week was Buzzers, Bloodworms, Diawl Bachs, Cat’s Whiskers and green/black lures. The fishery is closing at 7.30pm this week and 5pm on Saturdays.
