Wales Troutmasters reports for week-ending January 8th, 2016

Llyngwyn, Powys
Fishing was excellent during December and the 50 return tickets recorded just one blank. Also, larger fish were moving. Ken Holroyd, from Tenbury Wells, landed an 8lb and a 6lb 8oz rainbow; K. Gallagher, from Upper Chapel, had a 6lb 8oz fish; and Ben Evans, of Rhayader (a Junior Welsh International this year) had a 5lb rainbow.  All these were caught from the bank. The Cat's Whisker was the best fly but also the Damsel and Montana caught well.
